what did i do wrong or what am i doing wrong it is kinda growing but not real good and only got 2 small tomatos on it the plant loos kinda brown

The plants have been growing but haven’t been growing very large. Please keep in mind this is my first time doing this so I’m really learningg a lot to prepare myself for next year. There are some things I will not do next year and one of those will include putting a zucchini in a pot. More will go directly in the ground. I think I’ll build a box for next year. Anyway, enjoy! I’m trying 2 topsy turvy planters this summer. One has cherry tomatoes and seems to be doing just fine. I’ve already picked about 10 and even though they are small, they seem to be OK. The other planter has a roma plant. As soon as the tomatoes started to appear from the blossoms, they each start turning brown at the bottom. Every single tomato is getting this rotten spot, so none of them will be edible.

Both plants are watered at the same time and have been receiving fertilizer. Any reason for these rotten ones? Thanks!

This is an update of my strawberry topsy turvy & vegetables. Again, this is my first attempt at this. Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Also, a note: I was told I wasn’t feeding my strawberries enough so I was feeding them about once a week for now.

I’m using a self-supporting Topsy-Turvy planter with Miracle Grow tomato fertilizer once a week. The plants are all growing very well on an outdoor porch with plenty of breeze albeit not many bees. Can tomato plants fertilize or rather pollinate themselves or do they require pollination from another plant?
